Another lovely skate from Kim Yelim. Unlike Gubanova and Bell, though, this was lovely in a generic and non-descript way. Her SP was better.

Great job, Yelim! I don't find her the most engaging performer (although she did come alive in the step sequence), but she's very impressive technically. Her jumps have a lovely ballon to them.

I was watching the short version of the tech panel and I think it sums up all that is wrong with the olympics.

It's Bell and Kim their nationality is secondary and mean nothing
Put Flags over skater and there is no reason to be surprised if the panel plays politycs: it has to be expected

These two programs have been the best I have ever seen Yelim Kim skate. She has been performing.
