2022 Olympics: Women's Free Skate

Okay, I’ll take it. I thought she was going to give up after the fall, but she didn’t. There was no performance whatsoever before the steps, though. Lots of emptiness in the program.

AGH so bummed that Wakaba missed the first 3/3. (I used some Loena Hendrickx language when that happened.) The rest was strong! This program makes my 10 year old heart so happy.

I was reading about Yelim's problems at 13 in another thread and am so in her corner. I love her skating especially that monster lutz. If she skates with fire this could be amazing. I adore her beautiful dress also.

And now for the gamble of the night… how many quads Trusova lands. Guilty pleasure, I know, but I can’t help it. She’s her own event and Olympics.

Alysa miss the bonus point 10% by one second. She landed triple triple too soon. On well.

7th place for Alysa overall. What a strong Olympics debut!

I think Alysa breaks American women Olympics record (both short and long programs)

Alysa LP score 139 is higher than Mirai Nagasu team event 137

Well done, Alysa!! Very proud of her.:clap::clap:

Aw... Wakababy!! So the legendary lion cub has conquered her temporary leave from the jungle and bloomed to carry on the responsibility of 3A from the Lion Queen Mao. I rather enjoyed that, despite the fall on the 2nd jump, but overall, it is a great outing for her. Should break 210+?
