I will be very interested to see Sara-Maude's LP. Of course, Concerto de Québec by André Mathieu is not a warhorse for figure skaters, but it is for pianist Alain Lefèvre... but more importantly, my enthusiasm comes from the fact that this is a very different style for Sara-Maude. It may work well for her powerful skating.

I thought Xiangyi was skating to Metamorphosis the next season? :scratch2:

But maybe it was just background audio for the video. From the comments it seems i´m not the only one who thought so though.

Oh, Young.. :(

Maiia Khromykh RUS
FS: "The Devil You Know" and "My Love" by Kovacs; choreo by Daniil Gleikhengauz

:love2:

I love Kovacs, what a great choice. That is, I might have picked other songs from her, but whatever.

I am not familiar with Maiia's jump content at the moment, but could it be her among the Russian girls who makes it in the longer run?

Tsarevskii is back?

I hear Tsarevskii called Wolfkostin, and it all worked out. :
Yeah @lariko. It was discussed in May when announced on Wolfkostin's Instagram. Katarina later posted another pic with a brief explanation, which is how we know Dima apparently 'called' her. I think that means he always loved skating and did not stop on his own intentionally. Hopefully, everything's been worked out on his personal family front. It's quite the bonus that he's moved away from his Colorado hometown to train at up-and-coming, well-connected MIDA with a technically good skater like Katarina. They already placed first at Dallas Classic ahead of the lovely, well-matched Flores/ Desyatov.

Bella fortunately managed to move on from unimaginable disappointment and heartache to find another wonderful partner. F/D's emotional chemistry is irresistible, and they are perfect together physically and talent-wise.

From the pics of Dallas Classic, posted on icedance.com, Kat/Dima have really nice matching lines as well. It's kinda strange sometimes how things work out. Have to wait to actually see them perform though, to determine how they come across together emotionally. BTW, in addition to being an elegant, musically sensitive ice dancer, Dima is also a very good cello player! 🎶

Glad to hear that, I felt bad when W/C didn't continue. Hopefully, W/T can make it to Nationals.

I don't think there's any doubt of W/T's ability to make it to Nationals, barring any unforeseen injury mishap, etc.

Jeffrey Chen has a new, younger ice dance partner, as mentioned elsewhere in this thread. They are competing in juniors currently.

ETA:
There should be a lot of new program reveals from the Glacier Falls event this weekend.
