Are the Brown's using Chris Isaak's Wicked Game as a FD?

Love the song and can't believe it hasn't been used to more effect in figure skating.

But I find it an intensely dark romantic song (it's based on Isaak's recollection of a high school romance). So not sure how this would play out for the Browns. I mean, you could use mostly the music - but it's Issak's vocal that is so haunting. So we'll have to see.

I also love this song... that was my go to song for karaoke ! LOL

I am also not so sure why they would pick that song because of its romantic vibe ... but let's wait and see... I mean Malinin's Malaguena is far from what I expected when the info was released and it does work for him, much better than I would have thought...

I love Ilya Y.'s music selection
Ilya already skated to this music selection last year. He decided to keep his FS for another season since he is suffering from a recurring knee injury and couldn't show the program to its full potential. (Get well soon, Ilya! 💙🍎)

If you want to check it out, the best performance so far was this one:

La donna e mobile might have been fine 100 years ago... but it's pretty uncool for a young guy to skate to nowadays... :)

and dead banana times two.
well as you stated it was written more than 100 years ago, you're smart and from the side of the border where usually people know the meaning of putting things into their historical context. also you know the subject so you know it's the villain that sings that particular aria.

In fairness, only the opening guitar riff is heard in the clip; it could be mixed with something perfectly innocent.
It’s the ORIGINAL riff though—no horrible covers!—and for that, I applaud them. Plus, anything that gets people talking about the Browns, and exposing them to a larger audience, I’m all for that!
