Ngl, I was expecting something different, but only because Loena herself teased her new programs back in may with the tag 'out of comfort zone' and I thought that meant music wise. That's on me.
But now with Madonna in SP and FS, somewhat a theme, I kinda even want her to fully embrace that and use "b*tch I'm Madonna" (or a remix of it) for a gala

I loved her Frozen-program but this mix-up is not my cup of tea. But Loena does what Loena does and I still love her for being such a bold skater Now it will be interesting to see what short dress she picks this year

I just reeeeally want someone, anyone, to use the lesser known parts of Scheherazade, The Sleeping Beauty, Turandot, Madame Butterfly. Whenever someone skates to these popular ballets/operas, I can pick exactly which pieces they're going to use! Every skater uses the same pieces in the same order as everybody before them.

I'd like to see Rachmaninoff concerto no. 1 or 3
I think they've been done before, just no.2 seems so much more popular.

Excited to see Golubeva/Giotopoulos Moore skate to Umbrellas of Cherbourg next season, I think they'll get to add more transitions and hopefully boost their PCS scores.

I can confirm that Rachmaninoff concertos 1and 3 have been done. Of course the Paganini variations as well. I bet the 4th concerto has been done too but I don't remember...

Patrick did rach 2 but it was paired with the cello sonata which i love... so yeah my approval was given.

The Dallas Classic event senior combined dance RD has concluded. Bratti/ Somerville withdrew. New team Wolfkostin/Tsarevski are in first with 64+, followed by Flores/ Desyatov with 59+, and Ling/ Wein at 56+. The scores seem rather low, but it is the first event of the summer for these teams.

I am wondering whether it has yet been revealed what music Wolfkostin/ Tsarevski are skating to? Is there a thread in summer events for the Dallas Classic? I couldn't find one previously when I checked.

BTW, Isabella Flores & Ivan Desyatov have announced that his release has been secured. They have gratefully thanked all their supporters and contributors to the gofundme.

Patrick! I've not seen that programme before - fabulous.

I love that you can clearly hear the sound of his blades on the ice - it's like an extra instrumental sound - like a combination of strings and percussion.

Really interesting interview, of what I’ve listened to so far. Lim/Quan will also be doing a Prince medley, which will lead to an interesting comparison as it will be both couples’ senior debuts.

I wonder if their FD will be inspired by their coaches’ routine…
