Hi hi ! I played fill in the blanks with what I could easily remember from ACI with a few teams.

As far as I know, Hensen/Lickers’ FS is to music by Jeremy Dutcher, who is a First Nations musicologist, tenor and artist. From what I understand, I believe this choice reflects Nathan Lickers’ Six Nations heritage.

^^ makes sense... It did sound First Nations to me and I know about Nathan's community but I didn't want to make any assumptions.

Thanks you two !

Sara Höfer AUT
SP: "What About Us" by Pink, Johnny McDaid, Steve Mac
FS: "Katchi" by Nick Waterhouse, Leon Bridges; "Brass Devil" by Parov Stelar, Marcus Fuerede

A slight correction here:
you missed an "r" at the end of "Fuerede"
and idk if there's a way to write it differently, but Marcus Fuereder is Parov Stelar (his stage name); this way it looks like that's two people. (for bio it might not possible to do it differently)

BTW.... are there any skaters using one my favourites from the 80s ? or they don't want to fall and get on their knees and pray ?

or this other favourite

As per Twitter (via the ISU app), Ilia Malinin's FS is to Succession (HBO Original Series Soundtrack)

I don't know the series. I looked it up on youtube (the music)... if it's the main theme... it is not a great contrast with his previous LP... but then, there are other pieces in there that could support his aim to reach higher artistic goals, like the Andante here. Of course, I expect bits and pieces from a few different themes ... I am definitely not suggesting he would skate to the Andante alone (it's damn boring and repetitive after more than 20 seconds)

Succession was quite the popular television series here in the US, Ioosely based (I believe) on the Murdochs.

I watched 15 minutes of the first episode and was bored to tears, they lost me, never to return. :) I do not know the soundtrack, but I hope it helps Ilia reach his goals.

Since the show is about corporate scheming, I am having a difficult time visualizing a costume....

Black suit, white shirt. Question is, will he wear a tie?

Thanks for sharing the soundtrack, I'm not familiar with either it or the series. I'll be interested in seeing what selection is made from the music and Ilia's interpretation of it.

Ooooooooo I'm a bit excited now. My husband watched the entire series. I just went and told him this lol.

I'm starting to see a pattern here. Last year was to music from Euphoria. This year, Succession. I wonder what next year will bring...even though this season has barely started lol.
