Watched some of the girls' skates today, and Adeliia looked like she was about to cry after the mistake on the combo and for the rest of the program (and her eyes were definitely watery in the k&c). She will most likely bring it back in the free tomorrow, but if not, I can't help but wonder if she's developing a case of nerves. Apparently, she refused to speak with the reporters after her short, which she has absolutely every right to do, but it seems like she's not in a good headspace.

Anyway, good on Alina for being clean, but her program does nothing for me. Curious as to whether we'll see some quads from her tomorrow. Might be able to win it if she's restored them.

I dont think Adeliya feels the pressure from that, im more inclined to think its the whole mess and scrutiny that followed last weeks scoring and her performance. It likely doesn't help that she didnt have time to unpack and reflect on everything.

Btw little off topic but I thought Kosto and Georgis score was really good and fair but looks like she was really upset about it yesterday. Was there anything conteversal in the scoring I missed?

If I'm reading things properly, it seemed Kostornaia had a dummy spit afterwards in the interview feeling they could have done much better or should have been out in front.

I thought they were great and achieved close to their maximum for two singles skaters that have been skating together for 6 months.

The irony is that Alyona as a singles skater even without a 3A but her high PCS could have beaten Gorbacheva yesterday, probably could have got a silver medal in Ufa.
