Could she and Mark have broken up? it would explain her departure if everything else was to her liking.whats that?
I'm not into the relationship drama stuff, but, considering they're still working together with Plushenko I can't imagine thats the case.Could she and Mark have broken up? it would explain her departure if everything else was to her liking.
Telegram ChannelComments on where btw?
I heard of Anna's extreme dieting during the Olympic season which she talked about on a Cooking Show, but not Sasha'sand Trusova only was able to make it to 17 at the Olympics because of her extreme diet which she talked about in that cooking show
Probably just overheard it, because I don't remember her really talking much about her diet at all - Could you maybe give me a brief rundown on what exactly she said or point me to the right spot in the video? All Eteri girls have to diet strictly and keep their weight under control; they get weighed regularly in season and are punished (like, skating their programs a few times or something - not anything crazy) if they push weight too hard. Zhenya and Zagitova also spoke about this, it was one of them who mentioned Eteri would always have to know their location so they dont sneak out for food or anything, lol.I heard of Anna's extreme dieting during the Olympic season which she talked about on a Cooking Show, but not Sasha'sProbably just overheard it, because I don't remember her really talking much about her diet at all - Could you maybe give me a brief rundown on what exactly she said or point me to the right spot in the video?

Maybe they gave Sasha an ultimatum and told her she needs to commit to the upcoming season if she wants to continue with them.Team Sokolovskaya also deletes all comments about Sasha.
Muravieva could be a perennial contender under new age rules if she has a stable triple axel.Good reply. I see now you were speaking more about the positive long term potential for Kamila as compared to her peers, with which I fully agree and I am greatly happy about.
But I'd still appreciate if you could elaborate a bit more on what makes Zhillina a phenom "we've never seen before" in spite of Trusova's existence. I'll say: I agree that Zhillina shows potential to possibly become the most impressive ever jumper, but I think thats a pretty broad statement that applies not only to her. Has she really already proven to be that one and only phenom? Even in spite of Trusova's revolutionary record breaking and how far she set herself past her generation in the discipline of jumping?
Also, what do you think of Muravieva? You didn't seem to mention her as a contender for nationals medaling. I definitely understand she doesnt seem to be the biggest point farmer, but shes become one of my favourite skaters and I think she isnt any tier lower than Eteri girls. Not to mention the anti-Plushenko judging bias we saw in Russia last season. It also seems like Muravieva has already passed the "wall" girls normally hit and maintined (actually improved) her form. After the Russian ban I can totally see her career still hitting highs internationally.
As a side note I'll also add that somehow I'm convinced in the longevity of Petrosian - but not so much Akateva, for some reason.
I thought Sasha said she only ate in the morning leading up to the Olympics. All Eteri girls have to diet strictly and keep their weight under control; they get weighed regularly in season and are punished (like, skating their programs a few times or something - not anything crazy) if they push weight too hard. However, I think in that specific interview Sasha refused to talk about weight and diet much, although she was asked about it. I cant recall Sasha ever explicitly mentioning any problems with dieting in general - whether or not she was on the "same level" of dieting (whatever that means) as Anna is unclear; but she was definitely pushing herself as judging by how quickly she gained weight post season.
Overall, I think the "extreme" part of their dieting is overplayed; all athletes make hard sacrifices like this at the highest level. But, thats just my opinion.
Her 3A always looks so confident in warm ups and training, then during the program something often goes wrong. I know that feeling - probably nerves. I really hope she gets over that hurdle.Muravieva could be a perennial contender under new age rules if she has a stable triple axel.
You're probably right, but I don't see that as particularly crazy. Kind of like a typical weight cut lots of athletes would do.I thought Sasha said she only ate in the morning leading up to the Olympics.
I thought this was relatively obvious at this point, honestly. Well, competitively at least.that probably means she doesn't care about her career so much anymore.
Sasha had great spins, when she was younger. I think she just stopped working on them, or was allowed to stop working on them. She was always so fixated on the jumps, the rest took a back seat. As far as Nika-I think she is one of the, if not the, most gifted athlete to ever figure skate. Her performance ability needs work, as well as consistency-but she was born with once in a lifetime ability-powerful legs, great flexibility, and was gifted with the perfect body type to make the most of her athletic abilities. Sometimes though with Nika I wonder if she should have gone into gymnastics instead-I think there too she would have been one of the best in the world, and she would have had an easier path to the Olympics. At the same age (10 years old), Sasha definitely did not have spins that were far beyond the spin in the first video (see here - More travel (though both did travel, obviously) and notably slower once she reached the (hyperextended) Biellman compared to Nika) and to be very honest, her spins were always just decent. She did the best with her natural data, but she's not a spinner and never has been.
Does she have programs prepared for the new season? The other Eteri girls have shown snippets. It's been 18 months since she competed I think she made her decision long ago.Shcherbakova on participating this season, pretty frank answer that she's torn on the decision of what to do

I wonder what the motivation is for Eteri to do this? Maybe Akatieva is taking longer to recover, maybe there's some uncertainty with what happens to someone post September (I can't mention it).Daria Sadkova will not participate in the junior test skate and plans to participate in the adult test skate.
She is probably moving up to adult.
Sadkova does not seem ready to me.
