• Mariia & Danijil of HUN- I have not seen them yet this year. Last year they were our quirky clowns last year and he had purple hair then. She is from RUS & he from UKR.
• POL vs POL - Sofia & Wiktor skate as new seniors against Anastasia & Pavel. She goes all out in the RD costuming.
• UKR vs UKR - Zoe & Andrii and Mariia & Mykyta
• SWE has Milla & Nikolaj - racers!
• GER vs. GER Karla Maria Karl & Kai Hoferichter vs Jennifer JVR & Ben Steffen
• How will Diana & Gleb do?

Sandwiched in between the two Ladies Free Skate segments, we have the Senior Dancers starting their campaigns. 16 partnerships, arranged into a group of 4; followed by a resurfacing; followed by two groups of 4.

And by the looks of things at the top of this thread, we are not going back to the 80's this time, but instead going 1,000 years into the future!

(Don't worry, I know how easy it is to make typing errors and not spot them for ages).

Always love me a Wham programme! And "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" is a great as both the starter and the finisher.

But, I think the contrast of "Only You" by Savage in the middle is a bit too much. It is especially felt when going back to "Wake Me Up..." at the end. (By the way, fading is never a great way of transitioning between songs).

fading is never a great way of transitioning between songs

I remember reading somewhere that someone at IAM either Sam C or MFD said editing was a nightmare since so many songs used a fade to end. MFD also said she had a headache at the end of practices from the beats.

Yep, that just about sums it up.

This was like the previous programme, in that the middle song really didn't fit with what was either side of it. "Just the Two Of Us" really killed the mood that "I'm So Excited" had got us into. And even "It's Raining Men" couldn't get us back up to the level we had been at.

I know that you have to have a different tempo section in the middle. But, these last two programmes have gone too far down that road.
