I happen to still harbor some good feelings for Sasha Korovin, and I am sorry to say that he has a worse partner in his current team than he had with Alisa Efimova. Look at her now with Ruben Blommaert, she's thriving. Like, I know that he has his shortcomings, but (sigh)

that lift exit looked more like escaping from entanglement than anything.... i want this pairs to be good... but yeah... they are truly struggling... shows how difficult it is to gel for a new teams and shows how amazing it is to see the new teams in this event near the top.

Wish I could quick find the link to share, but Koenig did the most wonderful video interview of his experience coaching Aljona and Bruno. He teared up when he said, "it was the work" which was such a meaningful experiene, IIRC. Gave me chills.
