I thought Mihoko Higuchi's choreo for Rena's Mechanism FP is quirky enough, but of course the Frenchs took it even further

This was a very cool FS from Dupayage/Nabais, full of contemporary dance moves. However it was also quite messy at times, especially during twizzles. I think they'll fall behind the Koreans.

It’s a choreography term, my dancer mom uses it too— iirc it may refer to moving one part of the body while the rest is still?

But, they are certainly a lovely young dance team, yes

Who was your favorite? The taschlerovs were a close second for me, and top 3 for the audience overall I think.

Really like this FD for Lorraine and Anton. I like the minimalist costume and performance of this building music. Sadly, I do wish that Quinn had not retired as this current partnership does not seem to have the momentum previously held for Lorraine. Anton just does not seem to have the skills to match Lorraine, imo.

Don’t remind me. I was so sad when I found their partnership was done. Hope Quinn is doing well though.
