2023 JGP PGE Solidarity Cup Rhythm Dance

I hear this music and I think of Debi Thomas as a pro.

I'm split about Danger Zone. On the one hand I have always loved it, on the other hand I'm suspecting it played a role in how I messed up making my big highschool love fall in love with me.
you couldn't fly a fighter? so you had no chance to impress him/her?

Remember, Ted's a Kiwi. He only moved to Canada when he was a teenager. He didn't grow up in the bi-lingual environment that most Canadians do.

Completely independent of Ted, in my personal experience, it is not necessary to be raised in a bilingual environment in order to learn how to pronounce names in one of the main languages used in the country you've lived in for the majority of your life. It does help, but it's not absolutely needed.

Funny story I've only ever heard the Chipette version of Cold Hearted Snake which raises the question... why were the Chipettes singing such a song :laugh2:

From Beverly Hills Cop - the opening scenes of the movie were from my birthplace Detroit. I traveled those streets going to University and later working in the major medical center near where the chase scenes were filled.

That must be so cool, having a film made where you grew up. Seeing places you know, and seeing how they have been changed for the filming. or not, as the case may be. And being able to add wee snippets of information to whoever is watching with you.

Somehow, I don't think I'll ever be able to do that! My town is too small.

That said, I was able to recognise places in "Belfast".

I said I liked the soundtrack/film when I had no idea about any political implications... he was (is?) quite left wing, anti military. I just thought it was fun. 😭
oh no, you burned all of your chances in a few senteces :ghug: you were young you couldn't know that was pure militaristic, self righteous propaganda, but teenagers can be so unforgiving

It is rather cool. Detroit gets so much bad press, but it has some really nice places and some wonderful old places.

I was debating whether to comment about how beautiful Kristina is. And then Mark told us it was her birthday!

:cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

:cheer: HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY KRISTINA!!! :cheer:

I hope you are having a great day, and that the coming year is a good one for you, both on and off the ice.

Into 7th. They look disappointed.
