For some reason, my taste in skaters is completely erratic and all over the place, but Chaeyeon has definitely found a place among my little band of misfits.

She might not be serving much facial expression most of the time (though I feel like she's already improved some in that aspect during this season), but she is serving consistency, calmness and superb jumps. And many meme faces

Mika has often said that slide on the knees is dangerous because if the skater does not stop in time it may cause time violation - he did not mention it now, but I noticed Chaeyeon could stop it just in time. Well done.

That was a fantastic skate from Chaeyeon - she made it all look so easy, not a single iota of doubt. I love how she ends with the choreo sequence and the series of butterflies? Arabians? I don't know, but whatever they are, it suits the way the music builds, and must be so hard to squeeze out on tired legs at the very end. Congratulations to her on her new PB!

I'm not a fan of making facial expressions a point of judging anyway. It's a sport after all and everything should be expressed through the movement in the first place.
