2023 World Figure Skating Championships Women's Free Skate

Ekatrina is so cute and a great emotive skater, I just really really wished someone changed her packaging a little...
I think they're leaning into her being cute and joyful too much. A lot of her choreo is very theatrical, at times even pantomime-like, and while she has the charisma and expression to pull that off, I would like to see her do something else once in a while too.

Kind of like Evgenia Medvedeva, who had a very similar pantomime vibe in many of her programs but was able to expand her artistic arsenal later on in her career, and found a mostly happy medium between her natural theatrical nature and a more toned done artistic expression.

Katya always struggles with urs and 1 or 2 bad landings but honestly that was a good skate for Katya
I just wish she would skate to something less juvenile once in awhile
And there will be some today too, says Mika.

Katya, the ray of sunshine, in her cheerful dress. What a unique opening combination, that Lz-eu-F, though alas for the underrotations, which just keep knocking her down. Loved to see the twizzles with her head back in the step sequence, something I don't see a lot of skaters do. Dear judges, do give her good presentation/performance PCS, please.

There is fog and it the reason maybe the amount the audience, ice may be very soft in the end.
I have noticed that! I haven't seen that in a Japanese ice rink before.

Ouch judges? 9th?

Anywhere here's Bradie to remind us of the dangers of climate change!
