I hope they don't go with Fusar-Poli or Rizzo. I don't see Arribert taking them but what do I know : it looks good on paper but she's got a lot of their competitors indeed. I hope they don't come to IAMIf they want to stay in Europe, options are limited. Within Germany even more.
Any major coaching team I'm missing?
- Zanni's teams are strong in one of the areas G/S are a bit weaker in (speed, not like they're slow. but they are no Czech sibling team either), so if that's an area they want to work on, he'd be a good option.
- Barbara Fusar-Poli has another German team (Matthei/Liebers), so that would make the transition easier and her teams are technically strong, if a bit uninspired.
- Caruso has not had that much success with coaching tbh, and with the controversy... I don't know.
- Karine Arribert has a lot of teams who are direct competitors to G/S, but her teams have a quirky style and strong technical basics that would benefit G/S's development.
- Rizzo has Tali/Lafornara, but he's a technical specialist even if I find many of his teams' programs mediocre.
Either way, while unfortunate, it's smart to try out a few different coaching situations. After the JGP, they'll have time until the JGP (if they make it there
though it would mean that I may see them skate at summer events or Autumn Classic What do you think about the Lanes for them ?
I don't see them moving so far away currently - Dasha still has to finish school (I think she's in her last year? So would be finishing after Jr Words) and funding is sparse. I'm personally not happy with the work Carol is currently doing with BaBeau, but the theater kid energy her teams have is honestly very fitting for G/S.I hope they don't go with Fusar-Poli or Rizzo. Please be aware that figure skating in Germany on a Senior level is not really existing. There are only the few member of the national team that*s it. None of the disciplines constists of more than one warm-up group at Nationals. So don*t be dissapointed if you go there. Rearding tickets I think there will be no possibility to buy online so only pre-reservation by phone.
Dasha seems to be close with some of their skaters, like Hilda Taylor, which would definitely be helpful.

but it makes sense, I guess. She won't make the JGPF and she has her JWC mins.both made 6th place Annas 6th place is even more worth if you bring it in relation to the number of skaters. But the womens spot is going to somebody else, what I think is fair, because with the 6th place there is no chance to get a final spot. so why not to give the change to go tho the JGP to several young skaters. The mens spot goes to someone who just arrived in Germany got trained somerwhere else under complete different conditions like everybodey else in Germany and is now hyped by DEU and BEV. That is not fair. The participation at the JPG should be like an award for an successful development and good result in the past (in Germany) not somewhere else. That is my opinion.

I would also have understood if they had not replaced her. Anna has her Junior World mins already so they could have tried to give more girls the chance as well. But I'm happy anyways

Of course, if Olesya also places in the top ten at her first assignment, this rule will have to be broken for either her or Anna, as only one JGP is left for German singles skaters after this point. No official guidelines for that (yet), guess the DEU has not commonly been in that position
