Seems like they push her hard and she will end up with a short career. If the jumps are easy and in control like with Margot it's different though. Elena is not Margot.

Yeah she got away will some calls at the Panin tournament, but they all looked clean in this performance. What a performance it was.

curious as to how that happened...a bruised foot seems very unlikely to happen from anything on the ice, given it's protected by the boot
still, if it's just a normal bruise, she should be fine in a week or two

I remember several skaters who broke their foot by slipping on a step platform. Generally there are a lot of potentially dangerous off-ice things including off-ice jumping.

True, I once broke one of my toes from hitting my foot against a freezer, so there are certainly many ways it could have happened. Just glad it's nothing serious

Heh, I did by dropping a frozen roast on my foot. ER doc told me to punish it by eating it.
