2024-25 Russian Grand Prix - Juniors - Moscow

Fell on the intended lutz combo in the second half of the program.
Shame. I recall her StSq in the SP is quite unique and interesting. I like those sisters a lot I think they are quite talented.

Unlikely because Monogarova who was above at Moscow Champ didn't get any.
Devastating... her FS is so beautiful, I wish we could see it at stages as it improves. I thought she did decent? Landed her 4S consistently. A lot of names here I dont know at all, surprised she wouldnt make it.

And surely Solntsova gets stages? She might be my favourite.

I also see Vasileva did very poorly... shocking. Her jumps looked massive and stable before.

Regions have limited amount of stages.
Ahh of course, I didnt think about that... lot of these girls are coming from random regions but the Miltos were fighting in stacked Moscow. So qualifications are based off regional (Moscow) championship alone?

I, again, protest this horrible cover of Breaks. It destroys my faith in humanity, lol. What I want to see though is Yametova skating to real Tsoi.

That's said, Dune aside, they skated it well. The top 3 all looked better than I expected from Russain ID. So relieved Makarov is finally growing heh.

curious as to how that happened...a bruised foot seems very unlikely to happen from anything on the ice, given it's protected by the boot
still, if it's just a normal bruise, she should be fine in a week or two
the problem is if your toe swells, it won't fit in the boot. Been there. So even a 'stubbed toe' can keep you ought of a competition.

Excellent SP from junior men. More interesting than Jr. Women which rarely happens in Russia. Lazarev's level is almost frighteningly good. Kolesnikov saving combo was previous. I 'm heartbroken that Puzin missed the combo, but he seems to be adapting to his growth, so I am hoping for stronger free.

Just watched replays. Liked Puzankova, Gordeeva and Marinincheva the most.

Krasnozehnova is so under appreciated. Nobody ever mentions her but I liked her even since last season. Lots of improvement. She is one of the most unique if not the most. Interesting flow and choreo control. And seems like she almost has a 3Lo combo down which surprised me, thats really exciting. Eyes on her long-term I think she can become akin to Sinitsyna/Frolova competitively but artistically she has a totally distinct style and it'll be grand to watch grow.

Oh dear Ulyana she Zayaked, but at least she only lost a 2T so not too much. With only 1 fall its not a bad skate at all but its a far cry from how she has preformed during other comps this season.

This is the second season where Ulyana does so well in moscow championships, only to not be able to recreate those two skates at RJGP. Getting to nats will be hard for her:console:

Alisa landed her 3A!:cheer2:

I think some of the jumps might not been completely rotated tho so lets see what gets called if anything does.
