Alisa Abdullina and Artem Krylov is a new couple from Saint Petersburg.

She competed with Egor Petrov and they were good as a show team but not in competitions.
He competed with Uliana Ermakova and they were quite fun and good last season.

In the off-season they had swapped partners so Alisa started skating with Artem and Uliana started skating with Egor.

And so Alisa and Artem won the qualification to the RGP over Uliana and Egor.

They have a room to grow.

Kseniia Krausova and Daniil Korochkin are having their second senior season. Last season they were the only couple not from Moscow/SPb to make it to nationals. They are the youngest team in this event.

And probably the last one. The field became too deep.

But there's a junior couple that might make it to junior nationals.

This is a second senior season for Sofia Leontieva and Daniil Gorelkin. Last season they were 3rd after RD at Nationals but didn't manage to win a medal. They are one of fans' faves thanks to their fun and rememberable dances.

Sofia Shevchenko and Andrei Ezhlov teamed up two years ago.

She was coaching in Averbukh team after retirement and he was doing novice/junior competitions and skating in Averbukh shows. He is known for his love of backflips.

I sure hope so! It's a crime Irina is not an international star. I think they could be very competitive given the couples out there winning ISU medals.

Milana Kuzmina and Dmitri Studenikin have moved to seniors this season. They were 4th at Junior Nationals. They had to miss test skates due to pneumonia. This is their first event this season.

Sofia Tyutyunina/Matvei Grachev teamed up about a year ago. She was a top ice dancer without a partner and he was a man from a smaller city. Their skates tend to be up and down. They need much more time. But they managed to skate well at last nationals where they became 7th.
