Today Muravieva gave enough to show why she should be better, but not enough to actually be better. The scoring was accurate.

I noticed the same thing! However she skated her full FS at test skates effectively so I suppose cardio shouldn't be an issue for her tomorrow...

Doesn't seem fair to put her in front of clean Kulikova

I thought Kulikova was low balled. I would have had her at 66 -68 at least.

I think the PCS gap is very fair honestly. Kulikova showed much more at an earlier start so today felt lacklustre in comparison. I was a little underwhelmed. Not sure about tech components I didnt pay attention but Akateva's axel getting 1.1 seemed lowballed to me as well. I think judges are feeling hardcore today. Akateva's PCS alone seems reasonable then again what do I know considering I checked out into a mental breakdown and missed everything after she fell.

If she's sick, she shouldn't be skating here - She could petition for Nationals as a member of the National team without skating two qualifiers (which I assume is the plan).

Why? Mura is totally out of the character. Technically good, but she's not a black swan in the slightest. First part of the program her face projected nothing but being scared, after the music change she tried to smile a couple of times, but the only change is that scare was replaced with concentration.

It's funny that we have such different look at things, to me she was glorious. Especially in the stsq

She was sick today and not at her best, but I totally disagree with the person you quoted that says she cant handle the black swan image. Apparently the user is upset she didnt smile enough? For a black swan? Ok... I think she did great in the image she just needs to recover from her sickness and she can give a maximum physical showing. So I definitely agree that Mura related some awesome emotions. She shows power and angst very effectively. She has already shown it before. I also like the StSq a lot she hit the musical transition perfectly and was flying.
