I mean the difference is only as massive as it is because they're still drastically improving each generation. In the olden days, the little kids wouldn't be jumping anything much different from Seniors. The Senior would win because of artistry with the jumps being relatively the same. Right now we have a jumping revolution going on that improves with each successive generation, so the gap is super wide right now because of that, not because of age.

She relied on small body weight for her jumps, grew a little and lost them. It will probably be worse for her next year. Dysfunctional living situation would not help her. She should try to change federations that's her best chance of continuing.
