I always found it fascinating that a name that sounds so much like an Irish name is such a popular name in Finland.

Before I started following figure skating, the only person I knew that spelt her name like that was Oona O'Neill (Eugene O'Neill's daughter / Charlie Chaplin's wife). And she was from Irish stock (Eugene probably simplified the spelling for the international market).

Now I know lots!
