Nika and Misha can only pass Daniel if one of them wins in China. If that happens, we would need to look at Adam and Shun to see if they beat 24 points and win tiebreakers. Etc

Just watched them. Bumpy ride but also a lot of skating to like. Way to go guys!

I couldn't watch live because Junior men in Dortmund were skating in parallel (gotta set priorities ), but I've caught up with the lads who interest me most.

Yuma - even his meltdown skates are a figure skating work of art. I actually prefer a little bit of inconsistency in a skater, otherwise it would be boring to watch. Yuma's skating gives me all the feels. I hope he does well at GPF.

Kevin - I admit, I was annoyed with Kevin during his drama period and stopped watching him. The emotional breakdowns in the K&C are not for me. But now that he's back to the spunk I remember from his early senior seasons, I'm thrilled by his technical and artistic abilities once again.

Lukas - He has my favourite programs this season. Lukas is like a fine wine, I enjoy him more and more as he gets older. Hopefully he keeps going for a couple of years, I would really love to see him perform his swan song at his home Euros in 2027.

Vova (Samoilov) - Vova has amazing jumps, but he has always been inconsistent. It's ok, he's a cactus. I like his new FS much better than last year's. The choreo suits him more, it underlines nicely how fast he is across the ice. I hope there will be a competition for him yet, where he will skate both programs cleanly and blow everyone's mind.

It was a shame to see Yuma come apart like that in a program. I don't think I recall ever seeing that happen in such a manner with him. On the positive side, I was shouting for Kevin since he missed a couple jumps but didn't let any of it invade his head at all. Not. One. Bit.

Does anyone besides me miss Nathan Chen? He was the only male skater that I did not have to sit on the edge of my seat and stress out about the jumps 95% of the time. There are/were other skaters with equal or better components, but his consistent jumps very seldom caused me to worry.

So so so over the moon for Kévin.

I love that he is completely himself on the ice and in the Kiss and Cry. Coming from a stoic background of stoic people, I appreciate his openness win lose or draw. Coming back from what he himself called his breakdown of last year, seeing Kevin skate for the joy of skating, taking falls in stride, I am here for it.
