Lukas Britschgi seems pleased with his skate. He doesn't seem to have the charisma in his skate that he had the last couple of seasons, though. There's something missing, and I can't put my finger on what.

To be fair, every single major male skater since Plushenko (and I only say since him because I don't know enough about him, Yagudin etc to say) had had a spectacular meltdown or more at entirely the wrong moment, at least Yuma came out of it still first.

Kevin Aymoz has just surprised me. I thought after the first jump that I knew what was coming... and it didn't happen!!! Has he finally turned the corner...?

Dick Button used to say that every skater has one Championship that they just completely mess up and that it usually doesn’t happen again that bad ever again.

Nathan was fine, but he rarely pops into my mind, as other skaters do, both more and less recent.

Heh, I just looked at the pre-game chat, and was amused at how close the finishing order was to the rank by PB (allowing for Cha's withdrawal).

I miss *peak* Nathan Chen, but he also have menned here and there.

Yes, I definitely miss him. I saw him many times live and only recall him having issues at Sk Amer 2021 where he took bronze and slipping and falling during his Rocket Man step sequence at Nats 2022

I agree. I was so worried there might be a meltdown. He overcame the fall like a champ. Good for him.
