Rolf PETERZIEL (DEU) was skating to "Vienna" by Billy Joel.

He was wearing black shirt and trousers, with white braces, gloves, and dickie bow.

Not a bad start to the competition.

He's happy.

Yay!!! The announcer got Axel RINALDI (FRA)'s name right today!!! He wasn't "Alex" like he was yesterday!

He was wearing all black. And skating to "It's Oh So Quiet" by Björk.

Honestly, I don't think this guy is the type to be starting a riot!

But, he was enjoying himself. Showed a bit of personality.

He wins. And such a reaction!

Robert NIEMANN (DEU) was wearing a green jacket and waistcoat with black shirt and trousers.

I thought he did alright, but he didn't seem very happy after he finished.

Well, he was happier when he was sitting waiting for his results.

They are arranged into a group containing 6 Masters II ladies; followed by a group containing 3 Masters II ladies and 3 Masters ladies; followed by a group containing 6 Masters I ladies.

Livestream for the Masters II and Masters I Ladies Artistic FS competitions is now on air.

Theresa KUEHNE (USA) was doing a "Lion King" programme.

She was wearing a black jumpsuit, with a furry collar which I suppose could represent a lion's mane.

She was good, but I was surprised that she didn't do something to acknowledge the music reaching the big finale in "Circle Of Life".

A very different finishing pose.

Nathalie WINOGRADOW (DEU) did an "Addams Family" programme. But, it was not the typical Addams Family programme. It started with dialogue from Gomez and Morticia, and then went into different pieces from the soundtrack that we don't normally hear being used in programmes.

For that alone, she deserves credit.

She was wearing the obligatory black dress. But she also had a single black glove. Reverse Michael Jackson?

She goes into 2nd position.

Natasha SOPEL (CAN) was wearing a black jumpsuit with sparklies. Nad she had her pony tail done like Rey from "Star Wars"

But, it wasn't "Star Wars" music she was skating to. It was techno music. And I really didn't like it.

The skating was good, though.

She goes into the lead.

Even before she was introduced, Elaine JURUN (USA) was playing up the sexiness.

She was wearing a black jumpsuit too. I was expecting another "Cabaret" programme, but she was actually skating to "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles.

What a great programme!

If she doesn't take the lead, I'm protesting!

No need to worry. She does.

Ooooh. A skater from Portugal! Right, nothing to stop Jonathan Guerreiro / Tiffany Zahorski coming back representing his Dad's country, then!

Carla de ALMEIDA (PRT) was wearing one of those dresses where the colour transitions from white to blue to black as you go down it.

She was actually good. Such a pity that she started her final spin after the music finished.

I know the music, but don't know what it is called.

She goes into 4th position.

Darya MANOYLO (BEL) actually reminds me a lot of somebody. But, you guys wouldn't know her.

She was wearing long black gloves and a royal blue dress. And it was another of these really long ones. But this one scared me more, because it was a split one, and it was flapping all over the place.

No idea what the music was, but it worked perfectly. She was really selling it!

She goes into the lead.

Silvija JENDERHAG (SWE) was wearing a black dress with sparklies and tassles, and skating to the Pussycat Dolls' cover of "Sway".

She was good too!

She goes into 5th position.

Robin SAWYER (USA) was wearing a beautiful purple dress with sparklies.

A very strange female cover of "Unchained Melody". I don't know how I could describe it.

But, strangely, it worked for this programme. That was actually really good.

Awwww. She was so happy after she finished.

She goes into 5th position.

Anna-Barbara CAFLISCH (CHE) was the final skater in the first competition of this group. She was wearing a black dress, and skating to a cover of "Je Ne Regrette Rien". Don't know whose version it was (it certainly wasn't Edith Piaf!), but it had a very different backing track.

Although I wouldn't be too fussed on the music, it wasn't a bad skate.

She is a very tall skater. And that was demonstrated when she was met by a companion at the boards. Anna-Barbara towered over her!

She finishes in 6th position.

CaroLiza_fan

Emilie FLECK (FRA) was a withdrawal, so we moved to Lauren PANNEPACKER (USA).

And I see that sister Alexandra isn't entered in this.

Lauren was wearing a blue dress with a sparkly startburst. And she was skating to a female accoustic cover of Abba's "The Winner Takes It All". Yes, tempting fate music.

But, it didn't do her any harm. She was good.

The middle group finishes with Rebekah FERRISS (CAN) giving us a "Rocky Horror Show" programme!!!

I'm kinda disappointed. She was wearing a beautiful black dress and black tights. But when you are skating to "Sweet Transvestite" by Tim Curry, you kinda expect something a bit more out there!

I can't imagine that is an easy song to interpret, but she did a great job.

I really enjoyed that.

She goes into the lead.

CaroLiza_fan

Grace STUEVER (USA) was wearing a grey PVC dress with black trim.

Don't know what the music was, but it was dramatic. And Grace was great at interpreting it.

She goes into the lead.

CaroLiza_fan

Alicia AUDIBERT (GBR) was wearing a dress that was part blue, part white, and part plack.

It started out with the first few notes of "Once Upon A December" from "Anastasia", but then there were some explosions and it changed to "Speechless" from the new version of "Aladdin". And then it changed to a French version of "Speechless". And then at the end there were a few techno notes, before the final few notes of "Speechless".

Not sure about this combining songs from different films.

So, the dress was a mixture of things. And the music was a mixture of things.

But the skating wasn't. It was good!

She goes into the lead.

CaroLiza_fan

Laura ROGERS (USA) was wearing a dress that was predominantly black, but the skirt part was red.

She was skating to a song I hadn't heard before, "Lose Control" by Teddy Swims.

And it worked. It was a good porogramme.

She goes into 5th position.

CaroLiza_fan

Vivian MAI (DEU) went overboard on the white. Everything from the neck down was covered in white. And she was seriously blending into the ice!

She was skating to Alexandra Burke's cover of "Hallelujah". My favourite female version of the song.

Awww. She was crying with joy when she finished skating.

And she was still crying when we came back from the highlights.

And so she should! It was beautiful!

She goes into the lead. And starts crying even more!
