Was that the announcer talking again after Stefania got into position, or was it dialogue?

Ach, fall on first jump, rhe Triple Flip.

Not a great landing on second jump, the Triple Loop.

But the combination jump she did next was great!!!

And so was one that followed!!!

Flying Camel Sspin and Choreographic Sequence good

The third of her combination jumps was great too!

Not a great landing on her next individual jump.

Funny choreography at the start of "Gimme Gimme Gimme"

I missed the next element because I was smiling at the dancing she just did!

The ending section was good.

I know I am biased because I love Stefania and I love ABBA, but I absolutely loved that programme!!!

:cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

Mark and Ted full of praise for her jumping.

I still can't get over how good the combination jumps were. Such a pity that the individual jumps didn't go as well.

It's hard to read how the three of them are feeling. But if that sloth was real, it wouldn't be able to breathe because she is hugging it so tight!

She goes into 4th in the FS, and 2nd overall.

:cheer: WELL DONE STEFANIA!!! :cheer:

I will award my moral gold, silver and bronze medallists at the end of the event. Nakai clearly in the lead, then Kim behind, then should be very close with everyone else down to Samodelkina except for Tsai. The Chinese Taipei had two clear underrotations so should not be in that bracket, Inga/Sofia/Anastasia should be ahead of the Hwang for PCS. Hwang was clean but it was novice skating. That is no criticism she will grow up to be a fine skater, but girls like Sofia/Anastasia/Inga on another level. The Australian judge had Hwang receiving 31 for PCS :scratch2:. It's a subjective sport, we are entitled to our opinions I suppose.

People are massively sleeping on Samodelkina. Isabeau is the same age as Sofia and much smaller build which generally lends itself to easier jumping, but it is the exact opposite. Isabeau struggled can't cope with this transition, Sofia was effortless coming off 18 months of no competition. Who would you invest in? The girl who has not trained at an elite level nor competed for 18 months yet pulls off an effortless combo, or the girl who has invested everything each year and at the same age has seemingly reached her jumping limit. She was second best in the world last season too? I think Sakamoto struggled at the same age with injury as Sofia, but look at her now. Both have a similar build and power to their skating, although Sofia is much, much taller she must be 10cm taller than Sakamoto at a minimum. It's crazy what Sofia is doing. It shows the innate talent of her.

Sofia is not just tall for a junior skate, but her height is very rare for a senior skater.

It is a new era. Tall girls like Amber nailing triple axels in competition.

Good luck to all the girls. They try their best. The judges get in the way.
It is great that Samodelkina is back in competition right away, but it is clear that the injury and circumstances still impact her. If she has a strong free skate, it would be great. I don’t expect it, however.
