Honestly, Kuperman had a shot at the podium too for a hot minute there. Between him and Sheiko, that's a great showing in junior men for Israel.

Very nice skating by David. He has a great sense of style and pacing. He has such a tight circle into the 3A (not unlike Buttle) that makes the landings rather tight. Lots to like on the other jumps and spins. Lots of improvement in a years time.
He had better, more flowy landings in NextGen. I think someone said he had new skates, so his technique might have changed a bit to try to adapt and he tried to brute force the jumps this time cause that second 3A looked overrotated

Aww...Thank you so much! 🫶
I'm fine just sad for Taiga since I know he's capable of doing better than what he showed in the FS

Just praying he's able to keep his 2nd JGP assignment
JSF takes them away if a skater doesn't place 5th or higher so...😞

Edit: Just realized he wasn't assigned a 2nd JGP yet so likely just Rio in China
The difference between 5th and 6th is so small, literally that one fall on the choreo sequence. Can JSF overlook it this time? 🥺

Just reading through, I see all the comments on Patrick Blackwell.

I put him in third in my predictions, because he scored so well at Cranberry Cup juniors for a complete unknown (to me) and I said who is this guy and why don't I know him, and I was schooled. :) The only reason I wasn't sleeping on him.

We won't talk about my other predictions. ;)

Very impressed with Blackwell and Kupermann. As the commentaors said, that's senior level skating, and very good interpretation, too.

Just made it out of bed, going to check out the stream but I gather it was chaos?

Any wonderful costumes or music choices I should watch out for?
