2024 South Korean Figure Skating Championships

Venue: Uijeongbu Ice Rink

Nationals decide Worlds entries and is one of the criteria for National Team selections. National Team members are decided by combining the results of Nationals and the Ranking Competition. For the National Team, the main team consists of 9 women, 5 men, and 1 ice dance team and the reserve team 9 women and 3 men. As always the distinction between seniors and juniors is domestic, i.e. not taking age into account.

Nationals will be partially broadcasted on KBS1 and KBS2, on Saturday it will be aired on KBS2 from 15:50-17:00 KST and on Sunday it will be aired on KBS1 from 16:00-17:00 KST. So basically the last two groups of the senior women's short and the last group of the senior women's free, with probably some of the men's highlights added. The rest will (probably) be streamed on the KSU's Youtube channel. I will update on how to watch KBS1/KBS2 outside of Korea (you need a VPN) after I stop coughing for the day

1. Set a VPN to Korea

Will they do that? Korean Nats aren't one of the big 4 National championships... Italian nationals happened and I didn't see it on the front page when it took place

I don't know but it is bigger than and happens before 17th-europa-cup-skate-helena listed in upcoming events so I am giving it a try. I think there is way more interest in Korean Nationals. Also it benefits from being the only Nationals happening this week - so why not try.

Besides I am sitting here waiting, waiting for Skate Canada to get their Nationals information together.
