Mark, because he represents Israel. The hatred towards him is really sad to see. Hatred is what is causing all the problems in that part of the world in the first place and adding more doesn't solve anything (and I'm not going to say anything else because this isn't the place for geopolitics).

Mark is an innocent victim. I hope he reads our forum instead!

With all due respect, Mark and Tonia are not my favorite commentating team. At times I have trouble understanding Mark because of his accent, and Tonia just doesn't have anything interesting to say.

Tonia is pretty good at explaining why a move has gone awry when a skater makes an error. And I could listen to Mark expound on the subtleties of transitional content all day, even if much of it goes over my head, being someone who never got much beyond Mohawks and three turns.

I have sampled many other online skating discussion areas, and this is the only one I've felt invested in since the heyday of RSSIF. Thank you all for using terms I don't understand and posting images that don't always load on my Windows 2000 computer machine!

Also amazing: the potential for the second half of this event! May the Axels be excellent, the Loops never droop, and the splats be epic and non-injurious!!!!! (And a special shout out to my personal favorite, Yuma.)

I think that's the first complete program I've watched of Mark and wow. He's elegant and has composure. He gets quads or one quad and boom.

Interesting to watch the skaters off-ice warm-ups! I'd so not practice jumps that close to a door though!

I’m hoping he does decent enough to score a SB to give him two GP events next year. Praying for high 230s (and maybe a top 12 finish)

On a happier note, can we talk about Ivan Righini in the kiss n cry with Mikhail Shaidorov? I miss him - he was such a fun skater! It's great to see him and his sense of style!
