As much as I love Rio my son, I really like Minkyu too and I think he deserved the win here based on his overall skating especially in the short program

tell me about that! i tanked totally pairs and was just off podium in women but got 65 in men! men of all disciplines! and i'm better at junior than at seniors...

Honestly, pretty solid men's competition too, so really, only the pairs kinda flopped a bit this year (and the Dancers too, but not too much)... Pretty good.
