Does anyone know what Maia Mazzara's up to? We haven't seen her in a while. Her bio isn't up to date, last I saw, she had changed locations and was still training?

What about Maé-Bérénice?

For anyone who's able to watch French TV, the French Nats gala airs in about an hour: https://www.programme-tv.net/progra...iles-de-la-glace/30505060-gala-des-champions/
Just saw this...no idea when or if Maé is ever going to compete again. Maia was (is still?) injured.

A short look back at Europeans.

Men:
Kevin Aymoz had a terribly bad day during the SP, and missed the FS. I am not going to mention the points - the number was very low.
Francois Pitot had quite a good outing in the SP (13th), but his FS let him down (21st). He ended in 16th place with 197.87 points.
Davide Lewton Brain did well, 21st in the SP, 18th in the FS, he ended in 20th place with 192.87 points. His skating is gorgeous, although there is no 3A.
Only one man for France next year. Hopefully Davide will continue as well.

Women:
Lea Serna was 15th with 157.09 points
Lorine Schild was 18th with 153.29 points.
Only one woman for France next year.

Pairs:
Camille and Pavel Kovalev were 10th with 165.09 points
Aurelie Fella and Theo Belle were 14th with 152,85 points.
A second pair for France next year as well.

ID
Laurence Fournier Boudry and Guillaume Cizeron were first (🥇) with 222.43 points.:points:
Evgeniia Lopareva and Geoffrey Brissaud were fourth with 204.72 points.
Loicia Demogeot and Theo le Mercier were ninth with 191.62 points
Next year will also see 3 ID couples from France at Euro's.:cheer::cheer::cheer:

Olympics up next for some of them. Next week will see a French presence in some other competitions, and I'll come back to that later.

Dear all, I've been neglecting my beloved French skaters due to the Olympic's. Of course, there were French skaters there in all disciplines and they also participated in the Team Event. But I am sure you all have followed the competitions there (and the accompanying drama, whether judging or menning), so I will stick to the competitions which are less well known.

At Finnish ID Open in Helsinki Marie Dupayage/Thomas Nabais were first with 185.38 points. 🥇 :points:
Celina Fradji/Jean-Hans Fourneaux were second with 171.35 points. 🥈

In Jrs Lou Koch/Lucas Chataignoux were first with 141.29 points. 🥇:points:

In Adv Novice Siloe Nayeli Clai. Deboois-Renaudin/Enzo thomas were first with 115.71 points 🥇:points:

A very successful competition for the French Ice Dancers. Well done all. :cheer::laugh3::wave2::hap10:

At Skate Berlin International more disciplines took part (in fact all four) and the competition ran from Intermediate Novice to Sr. There were French participants in some parts of the competition, and I will mention them and their results below.

In Sr men Xavier Vauclin was 5th with 204.33 points.
In Jr pairs Vayana Hristova/Axel Ahmed were 7th with 105.96 points
In Adv Novice boys Baptiste Gellon was 2nd (🥈) with 108.9 points, Lorenzo Heurtebis was 5th with 99.04 points, and Nolann Djermanovic Kerirzin was 7th with 72.22 points.
In Adv Novice girls Anne-Sophie Heurtebis was 4th with 102.75 points, Lola Wang was 15th with 85.91 points, and Constance Mesnil was 23rd with 75.09 points.
In Adv Novice ID there were only 6 couples competing of which 4 from France: Allessandra Bartolomucci/-
Jimmy Fernette were 1st (🥇) with 112.81 points, Anait Leblond/Mael Couget were 2nd (🥈) with 107.62 points, Alice Bocquet/Yann Vogelbacher-Sattler were 5th with 94.02 points, and Maya Michea/Jeson Plourdeau were 6th with 84.97 points.
In Intermediate Novice ID there were even less participant (4 couples) divided eqally among French and Finnish couples, and this time the French came on top: Arina Bessonova/Victor Ardeev were 1st (🥇) with 68.90 points, and Agathe Boichard/Kilian Chairon Pan were 2nd (🥈) with 56.76 points.

Well done everybody. I hope they had a great time competing. :cheer::cheer::laugh3::wave2::hap10:

At Junior Worlds this weekend, some French skaters did quite well, in one instance even rewarded with a medal, the results of some others less so. Below the results.

In Jr men Jean Medard sadly did not make the cut to skate the Free. He ended in 41st place.
In jr women Stefania Gladki was 16th, Milana Mozeiki also missed the cut, and ended in 45th place.
There were a lot of single skaters (43 men and 50 women). Only one of each next year.

The French did better in pairs where Louise Ehrhard/Matthis Pellegris were 8th with 140.68 points and Romane Telemaque/Lucas Coulon were 14th with 121.64 points. Two couples next year as well.

France is a country of Ice Dancers which the results clearly show:
Ambre Perrier Gianesini/Samuel Blanc Klaperman were second ( 🥈 ) with 164.88 points.
Dania Mouaden/Theo Bigot were fifth with 153.00 points.
Three entrees next year in ID. Congrats!

Well done everybody, bad day, good day, everybody worked hard! :cheer::hap10::laugh3::wave2:
