She did land several 3Fs. The problem is that all of them were 3Fe as her edge was very bad.

I think she is. Women normally have really different Axel technique.

Mark isn't very consistent in general.

Just like Alisa this season and especially Andrei. I mean, really, one fall on the 4T in the last round and Alisa/Andrei would lose.

I was most surprised by Mura-Zhenya they were phenomenal.

Me too. I know that Zhenya is working on restoring his Lutz but it's still an uncomfortable jump for him. And they have very different toe jumps technique so they probably had hard time making them SBS. Probably they just focused on cheaper but cleaner and it worked out.

They have. Their twist was the best. And they did the 3F throw (Ch/Ya did the 3Lo in the first round). It was her unfortunate mistake on the 3T.

I'm not saying nothing they did looked good today, I'm saying as a team they have been struggling over a long time. It isn't about this tournament. I just wouldn't expect them to beat M/G or B/K the way I would Ch/Y.
