I can’t tell if these new group of men are more artistic from the past skaters that Russia have but one thing I’m pretty sure is that they are more charismatic and engaging performance wise. And ofcourse attempting more difficult jumps/ skills to keep up with the rest of the skating world.

Total madness to send her to test skates if she wasn't 100% recovered.

If she is still not 100% now, then why send her to the first stage?

Or maybe they will send her to three stages for extra preparation (maybe exclude the scores from the third stage she skates at) otherwise she has two more events before the Olympics.

Anyway, if she doesn't restore her previous content I think they will withdraw her from the Olympics.

I think they want to get stages out of the way for more uninterrupted training before the big events.

I really have no idea why they sent her to test skates I also think it was stupid and pointless.

I don't think she is making excuses because she said this all yesterday, after skating very well. She wasn't even sure if she would jump the 4T at all today.

I think the implication was that her injury is now fully recovered after the 2nd break, and so now its just about recovering tech as usual.

I actually thought their SP score was a little low for what they delivered, so I'm really sad that, to add insult to injury, the FS didn't work out as well as the Short :( I hope they do better at their next stage, they are so talented.
