I mean considering Tuktamysheva was getting high 37s, this is lowkey not wrong. Gushchina should be getting like 45. Frolova 50+ world record.

I don't think that had much to do with Mishin, though, but more with judges tending to "equalise" TES (potential) and PCS. Samodurova was not getting those kinds of PCS, nor was Gulyakova.

Adelia looks much sharper today

No 3A yet, first stage, not even close to where she is supposed to be. This peak is going to be unbelievable. Imagine skating this far above the entire international standard coming off injury and the worst performances of your life.

Wouldn't matter. She got 31.5 for way worse skating at the qualification. If she even gets close to 33 its over with 2 4Ts in the FS nobody can stop her.

For now the strategy is to go healthy, not to overload herself, till she is fully recovered from injury.

She's recovering from a summer injury. No rush for now, pretty sure that big guns will be ready closer to January if she manage to avoid further health problems.

I love the skater Frolova has become. It breaks my heart that this mature, solid, beautiful skater hasn't been able to show the world what she has become.

I like the color of her dress but wish it had some sparkle or detail on it, without this it's a bit too plain for the ice

Another nice performance from Frolova she almost always skates clean. It will go ahead of Gushchina maybe ahead of Petrosian (but I don't think so with the Olympics coming up), but Gushchina was better imo. More speed, more ice coverage.

Technically speaking, yes, Gushchina is still #1 for me—definitely in jumps. I take Frolova as my overall, though. We will see how Mura skates at her first event, too.
