2025-26 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 1 - Magnitogorsk

Vasiliy: It's obvious that Semion has both the program and the elements. But for some reason he wasn't able to do even the half of it yesterday.

as many young cacti Yuri is a strong jumper and a messy spinner. also he drags himself around the ice in the second half. stamina, boy, stamina

So that would be 5th PCS score at cup of China. And 3A from amber, alysa, rinka and ani, lzlo from Alysa.
I want adelia to win but other skaters too big of a threat currently.

Cohesive presentation is a very subjective point, and she is not faster.
This was certainly not a great outing for Adelia. Jumps were low and some sloppy, energy level was lacking, and today she looked like she was sick to death of this program. I think they should keep the Michael Jackson SP and ditch this program.

Petrosian needs two 4 if she wants to win the olympics at this point isn't a debate anymore ... the competition has 3A (and a few of them) ... I don't see her doing a 3A .. I just hope that she doesn't break mentally .. because I think nobody would expect in a month she regaining the 4 .. but her reaction wasn't good today

I managed to catch-up on Men's SP before the start today. I was so glad to see strong performances both from Artem and Arthur! :nana::laugh3: Fingers crossed they'll also have a great FS ! And that they are in for a fulfilling season fully recovered from injuries! :ghug:

And good luck to Mark in the FS too; they've cleaned a bit his SP and I think it's for the better; at test skates, I felt it was lots of uncontrolled energy with everything thrown in together , engaging won't deny it, but just a bit too much. And something also happened to the stepsq, looked very powerful but was judged only level 2 in the end. Anyway, on and upwards for the free! 💪

judging by the jumping content and the cactus spins i guess Kovalenko has a back injury, right? poor boy, this program is nice for him
