The choice would be clear even normally but from what I have seen at NHK only Kaori, Samodelkina and You are worth watching (plus maybe Pezzetta if she skates clean), while in Kazan there is stuffed starting field with Dasha, Yametik, Dina Khusnutdinova, Anna Frolova, Maria Zakharova, Lyubov Rubtsova and the rest can't be underestimated too. So the choice is clear.

There are many former skaters on the panels nowadays. Recently there was a dancing event with Khudaiberdieva and Ovsyannikov.
