Tretiakova crossed herself left to right. This is unbelievably uncommon in Russia. Even Eastern-rite Catholics go right to left. I've never seen that before.

She was first at Moscow Oblast Championships so she was supposed to get two stages. Not sure what happened. Of course, it's possible that she got two last stages.

Could be a really ignorant question but how do so many skaters stop 1 short of the 8-spin level? It seems really easy for them to just wait an extra rotation without sacrificing much timing or choreography at all. It would be worth the points. She did like 10 rotations on her difficult camel in the 2nd spin.

Rubtsova always rotates it. I won't be surprised if it's easier for her than +3T combos. There are such skaters.
