Minchae has never been consistent, and since she is both recovering and thus naturally careful going into the lutzes and flips I was not expecting a clean skate from her, and as expected things were rough. But the program is very much in her wheelhouse and it has the potential to be great, I hope I'll get to see her skate it clean at Nationals

Ooh conflicted feelings about Scheherazade... as music it's one of my favorites, but it also tends to eat skaters alive if they don't have the power for it...

Got tired in the second half, and the jumps (expectedly) fell apart a bit. The beginning was good, though. Will probably be enough for the lead, but she probably win't climb higher.

while loads of her jump rotation are suspect she did fight to get them all done, I like this program much better for than the short they kept from last season it suits her well.

Josephine scores so many points for a Scheherazade costume that gets the vibe right but doesn't scream "Scheherazade costume" as soon as you see it. I'd expect nothing less from my classy daughter

En contraire those jumps of hers look extremely risky and cavalier to me. Absolutely canons her toe pick into the ice.
