Estonian sounds similar to Finnish but the languages are apparently not at all intelligible with each other. Whereas Slavic languages belonging to the same branch (like West Slavic or East Slavic) are.

Does anyone know what's happened to the lass that skates out of Dundee and represents Lithuania? Aleksandra, but I don't remember her new surname.

She's not been scoring as highly this season.

The Lithuanian Fed had a novel way of deciding who to send here. In November & December, they sent different combinations of 2 of their Top 3 Ladies skaters to a series of events. And made their decision based on these head-to-heads.
