Linnea started so well and then the pops came. Definitely no worlds minimums and she’ll probably drop by quite a few places. As a consequence, Finland will be down to one spot next year.

Linnea. Pretty dress and pretty program. A few pops, but still a decent skate.

she may be naturally talented, her Polish so good you almost can't say it isn't her first language. Polish and Russian only seem to be similar, there are many little differences.

Oh yes! My husband is from Poland and for him it's more easy to understand Czech than Russian. But anyway, when I'm watching russian figure skating I'll be happy that he can translate some few words for me

Finland's two spots are gone. Maybe the selection rules should be checked. Olivia, national champion, has been so much more confident than these two and lost the spot only by 1 point.

And next season Iida is age eligible to skate in seniors, and if Nella will be in shape, you probably won't see Linnea any more in big competitions. Janna is a question mark.

Yeah she isn't a jumper and regressing on them. What I remember she used to do the triple flip? It should be easier for Josefin to get the CTES in the short where she needs 35.86. She's got 33.62 this season at her best. Needs at least one clean jump and a little more GOE on her level 4 spins and steps. I hope she gives it one more try at a remaining comp that counts before worlds. I so want her there.

Yeah, Josefine used to have a triple flip, and it was more dependable than triple lutz. And damn, they really pushed those minimums up lately. I remember where for worlds it was enough to have 50.0 TES for the FS. I guess they don't want to have 40+ girls in the SP like it used to be at some point, especially when there were no minimums set at all yet. But it is certainly strange that both at last Worlds (40 vs 35) and at this Europeans we also have more men than women competing in singles, whereas in the past it was basically always the opposite. It cannot be due to skaters from Russia not being allowed to skate here I think. Maybe they need to rethink those minimums or set slightly different criteria?
