2025 Four Continents Free Dance

they did last year... they did a couple years ago too when Piper was sick... and they do this year too... but I don't think it will happen considering worlds will be in Boston...
I know, I'm not that optimistic but I'm keeping a sliver of hope alive, it probably won't happen but it is not impossible, I choose to believe

I'm happy for Piper & Paul to finally get the win. No more fretting about judges or not being good enough. Some pressure is off for them too. They can savor this win having skated so well and look forward to the next challenge.

@NoNameFace : they've done it !!!!! ♥️🤍♥️
It's past 1 PM here, I'm after very difficult day at work yesterday (cried in the office and pretty much myself to sleep) and I'm crying again. From relief, joy of Piper and Paul putting their absolute best out there, from happiness about that audience cheer they got once their win was official and from kindness of you, @4everchan and all GSers here who understand me more than my own family.

I'm just beyond happy P² showed they can compete and put fabulous skating as their signature. Never felt more proud of standing in their corner, in thick and thin.

Thank you so much for thinking of me!!❤

Looking at protocols Piper and Paul beat C/B in PCS - it was the levels on the 1ft step sequence that hurt them. They would have won the FD if those had been higher. Worlds will be exciting!

PCSs looked like

Judge 2: C/B by 0.25
Judge 3: C/B by 1.00
Judge 4: G/P by 0.25

Judge 6: G/P by 0.50
Judge 7: C/B by 0.75
Judge 8: G/P by 0.25
Judge 9: G/P by 0.25

US judge is J7
J3 is Japanese
Canadian judge is J8

gotta send again the memo to the canadian judge to not be afraid of giving more points to their own skaters ;)

I have been thinking of you as we have been Piper and Paul fans for so long.:yahoo: Sad that you have been crying other than happy tears. Sending love and solidarity.

The start of this programme always gets me. It is so beautiful.

Mmmm. The director is making a lot of use of aerial shots. Not sure that is a good idea. They are too far away.

I know I am biased when it comes to these two, and I know I am clueless when it comes to the technicalities, but that looked absolutely flawless to me.

They have definitely thrown down the gauntlet to the next partnership, Christina CARREIRA / Anthony PONOMARENKO (USA).

Awww, Emilea doing the heart hand thing. Here's one back: ❤️

They go into the lead of both the FD and overall.

:cheer: WELL DONE EMILEA AND VADYM!!! :cheer:

That program mesmerizes me every time, and I thought this was a great performance of it, very moving. To me, their emotion is palpable, and the program always feels much shorter than it is, I'm so involved in it.
