That was a virtuoso technical performance for Misha and will be well rewarded, but devoid of heart for me artistically. Congratulations though on your medal! There is room for all types of skating.

well. i am far from a misha fan... FAR from it... but he has improved... his skating in between elements is less rough... and the jumps are cleaner.

he will win this by a landslide but that's fine.

Misha was the most technically brilliant
Jimmy had the biggest heart and won mine today

But OMG this is such and exciting podium!! There's Misha and Jun and Jimmy Ma! All of whom had very different programs and all of whom did absolutely epically with what they had!

Kudos to the South Korean crowd too

I do understand, I am happy with this podium (I have a soft spot for Mikhail) but I would have been just as happy were the two top spots reversed. Jun won last week, which mattered so much, and Jimmy's bronze will bring joy to people who need it.

And what is amusing is they are both massive Yuzuru fans, for all they need to learn more artistry
