A beautiful performance from Rion, right up until that shock fall in the step sequence. Nice 2A at the start with a beautiful running edge on the exit, and the 3Lz-3T looked so soft on landing. Little bit of travel in the her spins, but she hits such pretty positions in them. Her first set of twizzles in the step sequence were so fast. So glad she did not seem to hit her head when she went down. Oh no, she's very upset.

In the land of beautiful skaters, we are getting so many beautiful skates. Even with ice that seemingly isn't up to scratch.

Such a pity about the freak fall near the end. Because that was a beautiful skate from Rion SUMIYOSHI (JPN)

"Stairway to Heaven" reminds of the heady days of my youth spent among lava lamps and smoking oregano. Great to see Lorine skating cleanly to it.
