I actually don’t mind them - they fit the 90s skateboarder vibe they are going for. I actually like that they are skating to something different

There was some great music in the 90s (Boyz II Men fan here), although 80s were better. I think the issue is the significant lack of creativity/variety with the music choices. The same thing happened in 2024 with the 80s theme with the same three bands and musicians being used over and over….and over.

that's an issue that happens with themes. If you mention 80s to people, those people will go to the artists that achieved "mass saturation" at that time. Michael Jackson, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Prince. "Disco" will give us Village People and Donna Summer.

People don't go and research enough, and a lot of great music gets overlooked when people go for the obvious.

I never was a Boyz II Men fan (although I love their song Water Runs Dry) but their songs would work very well for ice dance.

And therein lies the major problem with this couple; they often have errors. . Ian is immensely talented, but they are unable to build positive momentum as a team due to his frequent lapses in focus at major events. Ugh, it’s frustrating!

There is a lot of great 90s music but I am pretty sure most of it doesn't meet the "upbeat" requirement or if it does it probably doesn't have the the correct beats per minute required for this season.

Exactly! 90s music was amazing - it’s just most teams have picked a lot of the not so great music from the decade…

I can't ever recall seeing a man in sequin pants before. I'm sure it's been done, but I don't recall it.
