2025 NHK Trophy Men's Short Program

Wait no...my eyes are playing tricks on me, I hope, because that's like an unforgivable fashion faux pas.

Hmm Haru's starting off well!

Hiiiii, I'm hear at an ungodly hour, so I might skip PBPs because of said ungodly hour and also because my favourite son is hear and I hate doing PBPs during a panic attack. Still excited for this event, even though there is a high menning potential.
totally understand, my guy is here and he likes to scare the beejezus outta me

Which faux pas are we talking about?

Can't say I am keen on this shirt, which reminds me of a summer nightie... but I do rather like him.

The word for Haru is smooth and easy. Nice GP debut young man!

Haru was literally on crutches earlier in the fall and started jumping triples last week, so this was a really impressive skate from him. He was so adorable in all of the post-practice interviews, he mentioned that he was so excited to share ice with some of his skating idols and international competitions. The spins aren't quite back yet, but everything else was very nicely done.

I don't think I've seen Kakiuchi before. Nice looking skate, but technically lower than I expected for this event.

Eeee here come the flags! 🇯🇵

Although we shouldn't be encouraging people to disregard doctor's advice...

What a great attitude. Mark is saying that he wanted to skate here because it would be a great life experience. Smart and touching answer.

That was a solid performance from Kakiuchi, although he dumped the camel spin. He has good basics and this is good experience for him.

Mark just described the theme of the program :wonder2:and the person who thought it up has been reading a lot of bad fiction....

Francois has been skating so well this season, he has such nice jumps and quality on the rest of his elements as well, and his programs are always really enjoyable to watch. He's doing sneaky well in his GPs thanks to his quality, cleanliness, and spin levels (get your level 4s, boys!)
