Well, I just have to say that I am sick of the ice dance disco/techno music trend over the last few years. I wish the ISU had made the Rhythm something more step based rather than thematic. But for what it is, I think the judges got the order correct. I am looking forward to the Free Dance and more variety and creativity.

We have to consider that Fournier-Beaudry/Cizeron would have likely gotten either something around this or a bit higher if not for Cizeron's mistake, though. We'll have to see when both of these teams are not on their home turf.

I think FBC will win but it doesn't mean I think their Vogue program is better

Yes, they got the second highest GOE on the other elements. The PCS are behind Reed/Ambrulevicius, but that could also be influenced by the mistake.

Indeed. They were headed to a huge score and he couldn't grab her leg... I was scared for a second that something worse was happening. Relieved here.. but devastated that second place is gone. They needed to reassert themselves ahead of teams that beat them at worlds.

The battle for bronze is between USA, CAN and CZE tmrw!!!

If all 3 of those teams skate their best, then the bronze should go to LaLa.

I've often had good luck with the Netherlands if that helps any. Today though I'm not using ISU; I'm using Peacock.

I disagree that Saulius's Too sexy is the best RD vs Paul's Too sexy

There are a lot of fun things in Piper and Paul's dance, including the "runway indications"

I like Alison and Saulius here but I think the Ru Paul + Right said Fred is a stronger and quirkier concept. It's much more fun than a deep V Neck

Politely disagree as of right now in the season. Saulius have continuous expression and... Back rolls! (Always and forever, Alyssa Edwards RPDR quote.)

Piper and Paul are the better ice dancers, but the vibe of the number is not fully there, yet. And RuPaul doesn't sound quite as good in the rink as Cantaloop, to me.

I am a sucker for a tongue-in-cheek, sexy vibe program. And Saulius are hitting it best so far, at the moment.

I don't know why there is so much tween music (Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, MIB) being used. All these teams are above the age of 18. Even LaLa's program is, at least, based on sports fandom, which I think is a clever way to deal with this season's music requirements.

The 90s had so many electronic dance music genres at the clubs. That is barely reflected this season. It's infuriating but not surprising.

Yup, they were headed solidly into second place, IMO.

Kaitlin Weaver was absolutely right in her commentary that it really doesn't help if you look like the world is ending as you head to the kiss and cry. That's true for both LaLa and Carreira/Pon today. Yes you made a mistake, but still look like you had a good time for goodness sake. The judges are still coming up with their PCS. Bluff it out!

Scott Hamilton used to say, "Don't sell your mistakes!"

Let me clarify
I loved Ali & Saul the most, I think P & P are the best dancers and deserved first, LaLa were the most energetic and true to the 90s feel, C & P are excellent dancers and got the edge of what will be a tight battle with LaLa this season. The judges are telling B & S to get a new program - this one belongs to FB & C

The judges are telling B/S that they don’t trust them because they are so inconsistent. At major international events they either make a major mistake or look like they are on the verge of making a major mistake and, if I’m being honest, they don’t match well as a team.

The scores certainly aren't saying it, but if I was Piper and Paul I'd do a music re-edit and switch out I'm Too Sexy to something that nobody else is using. It's not that it doesn't work for them, but hopefully, they will be skating towards the end of the teams in the RD and it would be better for them, I think, if the audience and judges hadn't already heard this song a few times when they hit the ice. Just my knee jerk reaction.

Yes. Piper and Paul have never really done "sexy" that well. It's just not believable the way it was with Scott and tessa, for example. The French at the time knew they couldn't compete with Scott and Tessa that way, because when Scott and Tessa were on the ice you'd think they were going to have a baby lol.

The Italians are toast. Both the R/A and Z/K are scoring higher than them, and they should; their programs do them no justice this season.

I actually think the costumes do connect beautifully with the music. The idea behind “Supermodel (You Better Work)”was to channel that Runway Haute Couture energy : confident, luminous, and unapologetically stylish. The white, high-fashion look wasn’t meant to match the lyrics literally, but to capture the aura and attitude of the runway: elegance, empowerment, and pure presence. The song’s bold rhythm and empowering lyrics invite everyone to step into their spotlight : to walk, pose, and shine with unapologetic style.

For me, Piper's costume didn't say runway. It is beautiful and she looks great in it but when I think of runway, I am not seeing that here. JMHO.

Not sure. I'm just saying that I feel like Paul is a little bit too tight in general for this music, and there is definitely opportunity for him to improve in terms of selling the character and Sass of that music

I don't think it will be changed. It's very well mixed with the You gotta work song.

I mean... it's kind of uncanny that only two teams have taken this song considering that it does say " I m too sexy for Milan "
