Oh dear. The miss on the triple axle seems to really be impacting her, although she's still going for everything. No green lights so far though after the first four jumping passes

As far as I understand, Uliana trained with the Angels of Pluschenko. At least her former coaches worked there. Maria trains in Moscow.

Okay. I wasn't aware of where she trained in the past, but that technique was definitely made more common with the Eteri skaters. I don't remember ever seeing that technique before her skaters made it popular. That's probably why there weren't as many triple combinations in the past I guess, as her technique really does seem to improve consistency on the combinations,

Oh no, a really rough skate from Sara-Maude, this is not at all what she's capable of, she just seemed really in her head and was muscling a lot of her jumps. She has so much potential, and she gets really good rotation on her axel, but this was just not her night.

the difference it would have made if she had landed a better triple axel. She lost her confidence. She fought though. I am proud of her gutsy skate. It will come.

I've seen it happen so often to skaters when they put so much into a new difficult element — both when the element goes well and when it doesn't.

Well, Sara-Maude has let Maddie back in. Will be interesting to see how this develops over the season.

Not the skate that she wanted, but she was able to get two of her combos backloaded after missing them in the first half. You'll get it another chance in Warsaw

Sara - Maude FS it could be better ,the idea i liked it and her expression brought memories of Sasha Cohen , is a pity she had some problems during her FS but i hope next time she does it better because the theme, idea and technically she is great

Not a whole lot of distance on the 3A, 3F was low, not a whole lot of flow and quite some issues for Sara Maude. She is only 20.
