1. NBC sure isn't hiding Ilia, he's their superstar! They're doing this so they can show off two world champions without a break in between

2. I hadn't even thought about that, but you're so right - senior skaters create huge holes in the ice, especially with lutzes and flips, which will be a huge challenge for the dancers who aren't used to dealing with this type of ice.

Chill! Ya know there will be an ice refresh between. Nice clean ice for that last dance flight. NBC will let Tara and Johnny blab and maybe reshow Amber and even, possibly pairs.

I think they train in the same rink - can you imagine that energy? Love it.

I also love Jacob's skating - he has such speed and raw power, and he's a great performer as well. This season, everything has really clicked for him, and he has found a new consistency with his elements that have helped him absolutely skyrocket up the junior ranks. He just had so much energy throughout this whole program! Unfortunately, he had a little too much energy on his steps, and kind of ran out of steam on his last spins, but that was still a great skate!

I love Jacob. My fave American man skater. But no. I am not over the split schedule. Only alcohol could make me forget about that.

Indeed the second half carries way more energy, but I wouldn't call the first half "dull", it's still beautifully skated in my humble opinion
