Ugh, I've had pneumonia and got exhausted walking from my car to the doctor's office.

Josephine should be really pleased with that effort and what a great skate coming back from pneumonia just last week.

I agree with the sentiment that Ashley talks like she is on a sugar high. It’s both funny and a bit annoying at the same time. At least she is nowhere near as annoying as Tara Lipinski.

Yes agreed! I, too, mentioned that Ashley is speaking a bit too emphatically but.......She is so much better than Tara, who talks constantly over the entire program and gives us every story about the skater she can.
With Ashley, she lets us hear the music and comments only on the elements. AND she is POSITIVE with everything she is saying. Nothing negative or cutting about the skater.

Best skate from Joey in quite a while. Great Choreo.

Considering she was recovering from pneumonia (!) this was a really incredible skate from Joey. She's always such a delight to watch, she seemed to having a blast throughout the entire program and I feel like the music is a really perfect fit for her. Unfortunately, she has rotation calls on the combo (she's lucky with just a q there, that was fully under) and the solo flip, but this is really a testament to how strong of a competitor she is and I fully expect her to be contending for a medal here next season.

I've had 25 cases of pneumonia of various types, I have serious fatigue issues permanently that affect my congenital heart problems.
