2025 World Championships Women's Free Skate

Here to cheer on Kristen Spours before turning in for the night. I really admire her determination*. Hope she has a good skate.

*In a BBC documentary "Freeze", she talked about a suffering a spinal injury. She was offered surgery, but was told that it could mean the end of her skating, so she opted to try to keep skating and try to heal purely through physio.

Guys wtf, I'm about to to walk into the arena, I cannot believe I'm about to watch the ladies FS at a world championship. Dream come true.
Hope this is a happier occasion than mine was.

Like in the short program, this was a cautious but neat skate from Meda - she did what she had to to get the jumps done. The jumps are nice when done well, and she has good spins as well. Moving forwards, carrying more speed throughout the program will help her improve her PCS and jump GOE, but she should be happy with this long program and her Worlds experience.

We don't have commentators in our local channel at this time (it is already Saturday eastern Eurooean time) so I hear only the music and arena announcements. I think this in enough to get me sleepy. Let's see if I can make it so long I can see Linnea.
