I love Julia - she's had to overcome so much and keeps on skating, and her jumps are so satisfying when they're done well. Fighting through this program when dealing with illness is so brave - I hope she can rest up and show us the quality that she's capable of like at Euros next season, and I'm sad that this incredible audience didn't get the chance to experience Julia at her best. She is such a remarkable skater, even with a messy free skate.

I really respect the work Lorine has put in towards refining her skating, especially even as she works to come back from injury. I think this program works well for her stylistically, and while there are occasionally still some flashes of juniorish skating, she really has improved so much in terms of basic movement refinement. Like always, jumps off-axis but impressively landed, and despite a messy second half, she kept pushing through - there are some really standout moments in the choreo sequence.

That's a lot better than Euros!

Is clean her FS, was better than in other championships and was very elegant, french style
